The Eagle Crest

This is a traditional brass band march composed for Bedford Town Band in the summer of 2023. The piece will open your programme with a bold yet playful atmosphere, showcasing the rich array of colours and sounds that the brass band has to offer.

Inspired by the bold, attention-seeking nature of Alexander Arutunian's Trumpet Concerto, this work promises to be a thrill-seeking, attention-grabbing trumpet concerto, highlighting the virtuosic colours that the trumpet has to offer. A brass band accompaniment for this work will be available, as well as with piano.
